Rediscovering His Mission 2005

Concordia University Portland was the venue for the Papua New Guinea Mission Society bung (gathering) held on July 29-30, 2005 following the theme “Rediscovering His Mission. Former missionaries to Papua New Guinea living in the Pacific Northwest were the primary organizers of the bung and included Dick and Beth Brandon, John and Jeanette Eggert, Judy McCormick, Karl and Esther Stotik and Steve and Elizabeth Steffens. Two special events at the gathering were a keynote address by Dr. Robert Newton from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a panel discussion (pictured above) featuring missionaries who had recently visited PNG: Dr. Bill Burce, Mary Anne Rall, Harvey Kath, Jerry Burce and Joe Herman.
