On July 26-28, members of the Papua New Guinea Mission Society gathered at Peace Lutheran Church in Monroe, WA to fellowship and hear presentations about projects the society is sponsoring with the Gutnius Lutheran Church of Papua New Guinea (GLC) in the Enga Province of Papua New Guinea (PNG). Multiple special guests from PNG traveled from PNG to join the former missionaries at the gathering. “Gathering With One Faith” was the theme of the bung.

The uplifting worship services at the bung were complimented by multiple presentations from missionaries who had recently visited PNG as well as greetings from many of the guests from PNG. Social gatherings at the home of hosts Joe and Linda Herman added to the richness of the experience, as did the trip to downtown Seattle following the bung meetings.
